Terms of Service

1. About This Service

Aircon.ph is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME TO CONFIRM], doing business as Aircon.ph. We help coordinate air-conditioning products, service bookings, technician matching, documentation, payment verification, and customer support across the Philippines. We also publish educational content including brand comparisons, pricing guides, and troubleshooting advice.

Aircon.ph is a service-coordination platform. It is not a bank, payment processor, insurance company, manufacturer, or licensed contractor. The actual aircon service is performed by independent technicians on our platform.

2. User Accounts & Onboarding

  • To book services, you submit an application using your phone number and email.
  • Our admin team reviews each application and emails an invite code on approval.
  • You use the invite code for first access. On first login, you set a password.
  • Future logins use your approved account credentials plus your password.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password and (where used) PIN confidential and for activity that occurs under your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our community standards, or applicable law.

3. Technician Status

Technicians on our platform are independent service providers and contractors, not employees of Aircon.ph, unless explicitly engaged under a separate written employment agreement. We verify their credentials, approve their accounts, and maintain a conduct/score system that may result in suspension or removal from the platform. The service itself is performed by the technician.

4. Service Bookings

  • A booking request is matched to available technicians in your area.
  • Pricing is based on published rates and the number of AC units. Additional parts or services may be quoted via a service report you must approve before any extra work is performed.
  • Both you and the technician must confirm job start and job completion through our two-way verification system.
  • Job completion may require documentation or photos.

5. Payments

Payments are handled through manual, admin-side verification. Customers may submit a GCash payment reference number or proof of payment in the app. A payment is considered confirmed only after verification by Aircon.ph’s authorized admin team. Aircon.ph does not currently operate automatic online card or e-wallet checkout.

Where the booking supports a deposit/balance flow, the deposit is verified before dispatch and the balance is verified after the work is completed.

Refunds, when approved, are issued by our admin team. Processing time depends on the originating channel: [REFUND PERIOD / BANKING DAYS TO CONFIRM].

6. Reviews & Conduct

After a completed service, you may leave a review and rating for your technician. Reviews should be honest, fair, and respectful. We may remove reviews that contain offensive language, false claims, or spam. Technicians are subject to a conduct-scoring system; sustained poor performance may result in suspension or removal from the platform.

7. Warranty & Exclusions

  • Where applicable, the manufacturer’s warranty applies to products purchased through our platform, subject to the manufacturer’s terms.
  • A service warranty applies only where it is stated in the booking, invoice, or service document for that job.
  • Warranty coverage does not extend to: misuse, unauthorized repair or modification, improper electrical supply, unrelated defects, hidden or undisclosed site conditions, customer-supplied defective materials, and events of force majeure.

8. Content Disclaimer

Educational content on this site (brand comparisons, pricing guides, troubleshooting) is provided for general informational purposes only. Prices and availability may change without notice. Price estimates are based on prevailing rates and may vary by location. DIY repair guidance is provided as general information only — electrical and refrigerant work should be performed by qualified technicians.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on Aircon.ph — including text, images, design, and code — is owned by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME TO CONFIRM] unless otherwise stated. You may reference and link to our content with proper attribution.

10. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the app:

  • Customer App: Account → Security → Delete my account.
  • Technician App: Settings → I-delete ang account ko.

Once a deletion is requested, your account access is disabled and active sessions and push notification tokens are removed. A 30-day grace/restoration period may apply: during that window, you may email us to restore the account. After the grace period, identifying account data is deleted or anonymized. Certain booking, payment, audit, dispute, fraud-prevention, security, accounting, and tax records may be retained or anonymized as required or permitted by law. 11. Privacy

Your use of Aircon.ph is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, retain, and disclose information about you.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Aircon.ph and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. While we verify technicians and operate quality controls, the service itself is performed by independent technicians.

Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes, or modifies any non-waivable right or remedy available to you under the Philippine Consumer Act (RA 7394), the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), or any other applicable Philippine law.

13. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of Aircon.ph shall be brought before the competent courts of [CITY/PROVINCE VENUE TO CONFIRM], without prejudice to your right to file a complaint with the appropriate consumer-protection or data-privacy authority (including the National Privacy Commission).

14. Changes to These Terms
